SAT Test preparation

The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States. It assesses students’ readiness for college and provides colleges with a common data point for comparing applicants.

Test Structure

1. Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW)

• Reading Test: 52 questions, 65 minutes

• Writing and Language Test: 44 questions, 35 minutes

2. Math

• Math Test – No Calculator: 20 questions, 25 minutes

• Math Test – Calculator: 38 questions, 55 minutes

3. Essay (Optional)

• 1 essay, 50 minutes

Scoring

• Each section (EBRW and Math) is scored on a scale of 200-800.

• The total score ranges from 400 to 1600.

• The optional essay is scored separately.

Test Preparation Tips
