Our Story
Since December 2006, Naomi Wanjagua has been tutoring students in Maths, English and Sciences . Formerly a franchise owner(Kip McGrath Education Centre Karen, Lavington and Kilimani), she has had great success and experience working with students with different needs . At Raena(pronounced as rina), we tutor children from ages 5-18. Our target group: school going children(CBC /844/British National Curriculum-Common Entrance, Checkpoints, KS 2 SATs,IGCSE and A Levels), homeschooling students, private candidates(IGCSE,A-LEVEL,KCSE), students transitioning from one school to another or one system to another.
We aim to help students understand & consolidate concepts learnt rather than drill students for exams.

SCIENCE TUTORING
Since its founding, Raena Learning has been one of the most trusted names in the industry. We assist students in Primary science and secondary sciences such as Chemistry , Biology and Physics.

MATH & ENGLISH TUTORING
Raena Learning English tutors know the difference between teaching English the British system way and the Kenyan system way. We tutor children from 5 years to 18 years old. We prepare students for 11+ and 13+Common Entrance exams, KCPE , KCSE, IGCSE -Cambridge and Edexcel and A Levels. For the Early years students who need help in developing their reading skills , we use the Jolly Phonics programme.
We are careful to use the correct materials and methodologies. We follow the school teacher to ensure that the correct method is used with every student.

Hope you are doing great. I would like to thank you and the entire team for the support you gave me while I was preparing for my final exams. I have honestly tried to come to do this in person but I am a very emotional person and find myself in tears, even now. I really mean it. I have never walked out of an exam room feeling proud of myself , well ,for the whole period in A levels. But throughout this period I was doing my exams I walked out feeling achieved and believe I did surpass my goals.
